Go Your Own Way

The nest is empty, the work is done, now it is time to get away and have some fun. Prime Time camp is your opportunity to experience all of the joys of Summer Camp while staying in our comfortable retreat lodge, Selkirk.

Get outdoors and thrive. Twinlow is close to major trails that lead to miles of adventure in North Idaho’s beauty. If hiking or biking are your adventure of choice then you have come to the right place. Twinlow Staff are happy to help you pick the perfect outing to experience all the majesty of the Gem State. Hikes on the trails at Ferragut State Park are a short twenty minute drive away. Alternatively, you can bike the Hiawatha or Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. Bike rentals for both are available and Twinlow Staff would love to help set up your excursion.

Indulge your passion for golf; Twinlow is just down the road from Twin Lakes Village Golf Club. A unique golf experience with exceptional views and unforgettable golfing, the course has 18 holes of well groomed fairways and greens adjacent to Twin Lakes. Let the Twinlow Staff take care of your tee-time.

Life is simply better at the lake. Enjoy reconnecting with nature through various self-guided or staff-guided options. Go with the flow in a canoe or kayak paddle around picturesque Lower Twin Lake. For the anglers we have guided fishing trips for both large and small mouth bass. For a self-guided fishing adventure you are welcome to fish right off our dock (Idaho Fishing License is required to fish in Twin Lakes).

For those who like to take it slower we have a variety of board games, puzzles, and crafting options. Twinlow sits on a hill leading to the shore of Lower Twin Lake. Stretch your legs on our gentle nature walk to our peaceful stone labyrinth. The deck of Selkirk Lodge offers the perfect location to simply sit an enjoy the view.

Meals will be provided dinner Monday through breakfast on Friday. All meals are served in our Dining Hall, a short walk from Selkirk Lodge. We are proud to serve tasty meals that accommodate dietary restrictions. The menu for Prime Time Camp will be made with adults in mind, we will leave the camp food for our school age campers.

This is a week for many adults to get away. We would appreciate all participants to be mindful of their physical needs. If you need extra assistance getting around, or you have health needs, please make sure to arrange ahead of time for someone to help you get through the week. Transportation to and from Twinlow Camp is not arranged by Twinlow. At Twinlow we always strive to be accessible to all ability levels; however, accessibility is not always guaranteed in the non-summer months, and handicap lodging is limited.

If you don’t think that is enough, here are a few other things you’ll enjoy during your week as a Prime Time Camper:

  • Kayaking
  • Canoeing
  • Stand Up Paddleboard
  • Campfires
  • Crafts
  • Archery
  • Sports (soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball, etc.)
  • Frisbee golf
  • Nature Walks
