The Perfect Introduction!
Primary Camp is a great way to introduce your child to being a Twinlow Camper. It is only three nights away from home with friendly staff and volunteers to guide them through their week.
We understand that time away from family, friends, pets, and normal routines can be stressful for young campers. Our goal with Primary Camp is to “ease into” the full camp experience while being sensitive to issues like homesickness and anxiety about trying new things.
We hope that your Primary Camper will walk away from camp with new friendships, new experiences, and an understanding of how deeply God loves them. Primary campers get to try a little bit of everything, like waterfront play, arts and crafts, outdoor sports, and worship around a campfire (weather permitting).
If you and your camper are nervous about starting overnight camp, we would love to have you visit for Camp Preview Day on June 13, 2026. If our Preview Day date doesn’t work for you, please reach out to us! We would love to give you a tour of camp and show you and your camper what Twinlow is like.
As a Primary Camper your child may get to experience any or all of the following:
- Kayaking
- Canoeing
- Inflatable Water Toys
- Swimming
- Campfires
- Crafts
- 9-Square in the Air
- Gaga Ball
- Archery
- Sports (volleyball, kickball, basketball, etc.)
- Frisbee Golf
- Mini Golf
- Nature Walks
- Prayer Labyrinth
- Giant Slip n’ Slide
- Board Games
- Camp Store
- And time to just chill
