Making Arts & Science Fun
Exploring woods, experiencing the water cycle in the lake, and enjoying creative time is what this camp is all about. We are curious and creative beings and it is our hope to teach campers about how our natural world works and how to be artistic in it.
As a Fine Arts Camper your child will learn by doing and exploring. We have staff and volunteers who are excited to teach your child about God’s creation, safely perform science experiments, and build water bottle rockets! We believe God made us in the image of a wonderful Creator and so we will help campers to create something beautiful.
Here is what a Fine Arts Camper will experience at camp:
- Creation Care (how to take care of our planet)
- Water Bottle Rockets
- Safe science experiments
- Using found objects to make art
- How to reuse materials for art or use
Along with those activities, Fine Arts Campers will also get to enjoy camp classics such as:
- Stand Up Paddleboard
- Inflatable water toys
- 9-Square in the Air
- Gaga ball
- Sports (soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball, etc.)
- Frisbee golf
- Ultimate Frisbee
- Mafunzos (a time to learn something new)
- Nature Walks
- Slip n’ Slide
- Board games
- Camp store
- And time to just chill
